Salt Lake County Public Health Center
The new Public Health building cost $10.5 million and is in the same location as the original building that was constructed in 1965. The two-story, 40,000-square-foot health center offers immunizations, vital records, WIC, clinics for sexually transmitted disease, epidemiology services, and more. BNA was involved in the electrical, lighting and audiovisual design of the building. Our Audiovisual department designed the intercom system, conference & training rooms and TV signal distribution for the waiting rooms.

This building is the second research building at the Huntsman Cancer Institute Complex. The
facility houses 37,000 square feet of research labs and support spaces. The total expansion
was 220,000 square feet. The laboratory areas required multiple electrical connections ranging from receptacles at lab benches to multiple
connections at service panels in the ceiling, and controlled environment rooms.
